Established in 1962, this gymnasium has a rich history of being a hub for athletic excellence and cultural events. The venue is part of Columbia University and serves as the home court for the Columbia Lions basketball team.

The yearly schedule at Levien Gymnasium is packed with exciting events, particularly during the basketball season, which typically runs from November to March. Fans can expect to see thrilling matchups and high-energy performances throughout this period. Ticket prices vary based on the event category, with basketball games generally ranging from $15 to $50, while special events may command higher prices.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at Levien Gymnasium is designed to provide an engaging experience for all attendees. The best sections are typically located close to the court, such as sections 101 and 102, which offer an unobstructed view of the action. These areas are highly sought after due to their proximity to the players and the overall excitement they provide.

Conversely, sections located further back or in the corners may not offer the same level of visibility and are often considered less desirable. However, these sections can still provide a good experience for those looking for more affordable ticket options.

Parking Information

Parking around Levien Gymnasium can be challenging due to its urban location. The best parking option is the Columbia University Parking Garage, located at 120th Street and Broadway. This facility offers convenient access to the venue and typically charges around $20 for event parking.

In addition to the university garage, there are several street parking options available; however, these can be limited and often require careful attention to parking regulations. It is advisable to avoid parking in areas with strict enforcement or limited time restrictions to prevent fines.
